Job Overview

We are looking for a Systems Analysis Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will oversee the process of gathering and managing both functional and non-functional requirements. Your expertise in facilitation, interviewing, and effective communication will be essential in identifying business needs. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and other technical professionals to ensure the successful implementation of solutions that meet those requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business requirements and workflows. Conduct interviews and workshops to gain insights into business needs.
  • Evaluate and map business processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement and proposing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct gap analysis to uncover discrepancies between current operations and desired outcomes. Offer recommendations and actionable strategies to address these gaps.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, including Solution Architects and Developers, to design and implement solutions that align with business requirements. Ensure that solutions are in harmony with business objectives and technical viability.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams. Ensure clarity and accessibility for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Quality Assurance team to create and execute Acceptance Criteria, test plans, and test cases. Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring that solutions meet established requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between business units and IT, fostering communication and collaboration. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Assist in change management initiatives by providing training, creating user guides, and leading workshops. Facilitate the smooth adoption of new systems and processes by end-users.
  • Analyze data to support informed business decision-making. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics.
  • Support project planning, track progress, and ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Aid in risk management and issue resolution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field. Experience in the Group Benefits sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and proficiency in MS Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint are essential.
