Position Overview

Role: Server Assistant - Sportsbar
Department: Hospitality Services
Reports to: Hospitality Management Team

We are excited to welcome passionate and dedicated individuals to our hospitality team, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our guests during various events.

The Sportsbar offers an engaging atmosphere that combines live sports with exceptional dining. As a Server Assistant, you will work closely with servers to ensure that all patrons enjoy a top-tier experience. This is a part-time, event-based position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with servers to provide an outstanding experience for guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
  • Assist guests with inquiries to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and positivity.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Completion of a Serving it Right certification is required.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with flexible start times.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs safely.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality service.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Non-residents must have a valid work permit.
  • This is an on-site position at the Sportsbar.
