Hospital Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to lead our team in safeguarding our facility and ensuring the protection of clients, visitors, and assets. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Directly supervise a team of security officers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance and professionalism.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Crisis Management: Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as necessary to address security incidents effectively.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management and clinical services, to address security concerns and implement proactive measures.
- Emergency Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, for various scenarios such as fire, active shooter, or natural disasters.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between security personnel and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Security Experience: Minimum of 2-year Security Supervisory experience preferably in government building, high profile sites, healthcare, etc.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Certifications: Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Education: Police Foundations, Community Justice Services or Law Enforcement Diploma would be an asset.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Competitive Pay: Pay Rate - $24.00
