Advanced Packaging Engineer

Ranovus, a leading provider of next-generation data center infrastructure solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex sub-assemblies, components, and packaging for our optical engine products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop complex sub-assemblies, components, and packaging as assigned, utilizing SolidWorks and other design tools.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement changes to product design and/or the manufacturing process to achieve efficiency, quality, and/or cost improvements.
- Requirements and Specifications: Develop requirement specifications, system concepts, and detail drawings, as well as budgets and bills of materials.
- Customer Support: Provide customer product design engineering for economic production, and participate in meetings with customers as needed.
- Manufacturing Support: Work with manufacturing to troubleshoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups, methods development, and the development of process parameters.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct proof of concept experiments and design other testing requirements as needed.
- Documentation and Training: Develop SOPs, operations, and maintenance manuals, as well as provide training to manufacturing personnel.
- Research and Development: Research new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology, and apply this knowledge to improve processes and products.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure projects are compliant with all local, regional, and national regulatory requirements, codes, and controls, and support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Experience: 5-10 years of solid experience in related work, including experience with photonic, laser, and ASIC components and micro-assembly.
- Skills: Excellent ability to solve technical, scientific, and experimental problems, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Education: Master's or PhD preferred in a related engineering discipline.
