Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Track progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates on key metrics and outcomes.
Organize and facilitate strategic planning meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and contribute to best practices in strategic planning.
Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the strategic and annual planning processes.
Develop and maintain tools and processes to support strategic and annual planning processes, including mechanisms to track progress.

Project Management

Act as project leader for key initiatives.
Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
Provide regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Strategic Management, or a related field.
Between three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project coordination with a good knowledge of the concepts of overseeing large, complex portfolios.
Previous experience in strategic planning, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools.
Previous experience in transport, logistics operations, or supply chain management is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Skills: communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to summarize complex and multidisciplinary data into comprehensive executive reporting. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Knowledge: understanding of project management principles, practices, and frameworks. Some experience in product management is a plus.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Linguistic: Communicate Effectively in French and English.

Project Management tools (Planner, Monday, JIRA, etc.)
