Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Track progress of strategic initiatives and provide updates on key metrics and outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate strategic planning meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
  • Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and contribute to best practices in strategic planning.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the strategic and annual planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain tools and processes to support strategic and annual planning processes, including mechanisms to track progress.

Project Management

  • Act as project leader for key initiatives.
  • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Strategic Management, or a related field.
  • Between three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project coordination with a good knowledge of the concepts of overseeing large, complex portfolios.
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics operations, or supply chain management is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Skills: communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to summarize complex and multidisciplinary data into comprehensive executive reporting. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge: understanding of project management principles, practices, and frameworks. Some experience in product management is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Linguistic: Communicate Effectively in French and English.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Project Management tools (Planner, Monday, JIRA, etc.)
