Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Boston Pizza Port Alberni. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Food Cost Management
Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability and minimize waste.
- Operational Analysis
Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Culinary Leadership
Supervise and mentor our culinary team, including specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff, to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional results.
- Menu Development
Create new recipes and menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our guests and stay ahead of culinary trends.
- Training and Development
Train and develop our culinary team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
- Equipment Management
Oversee the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment to ensure that it is in good working order and meets the needs of our culinary team.
- Staff Management
Recruit, hire, and manage our culinary team members to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
- Language
Fluency in English.
- Work Hours
35 hours per week.
