We are in search of a dynamic Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to spearhead our strategic financial initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will lead corporate financial planning, overseeing both short-term and long-term budgeting, capital allocation, and forecasting processes.

This position is ideal for an experienced leader who is committed to cultivating a culture of strategic financial excellence and teamwork. You will drive the adoption of advanced analytical tools, forecasting methodologies, and financial modeling techniques to enhance organizational decision-making. Your leadership will guide continuous improvement efforts within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function, identifying opportunities to optimize budgeting processes, enhance financial performance, and deliver insightful analyses that align with corporate objectives.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will manage corporate financial planning, budget analysis, and special projects, providing high-impact financial insights and reports that support informed business decisions. Leading a team of Financial Analysts, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

Previous experience in Finance Transformation will be advantageous as you will lead strategic finance transformation initiatives, improving operational efficiency, automating processes, and aligning financial strategies with business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and budgeting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • CPA designation and a university degree in business, finance, or economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate financial management, budgeting, and analysis
  • Familiarity with accepted accounting practices, principles, standards, and procedures, including reporting and costing
  • Proficiency in developing financial models, scenarios, and driver-based financial analysis
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to senior leadership and Board members
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must obtain and maintain the required Police Security Clearance as a condition of employment. This process is facilitated by our law enforcement partners, and candidates must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to qualify.

VACCINATION POLICY: E-Comm 9-1-1 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. Should it be reinstated, compliance will be required for all employees.
