E-Comm is a leading organization in emergency communications, dedicated to providing essential life-safety services to first responders and the public across various communities. We are looking for a proactive Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to spearhead our strategic financial initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee corporate financial planning, managing both short-term and long-term budgets, capital planning, and forecasting.

This position is ideal for an accomplished leader who is enthusiastic about cultivating a culture of strategic financial excellence and teamwork. You will drive the integration of advanced analytical tools, forecasting methodologies, and financial modeling techniques to enhance decision-making processes. Your leadership will guide continuous improvement initiatives within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department, identifying ways to optimize budgeting practices, elevate financial performance, and deliver insightful analyses that align with the organization's objectives.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be accountable for corporate financial planning, budget analysis, and special projects, providing impactful financial analyses and reports that facilitate informed business decisions. Leading a team of Financial Analysts, you will ensure the timely and precise delivery of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

Experience in Finance Transformation will be advantageous as you will lead strategic finance transformation initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, automating processes, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Over 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and budgeting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role CPA designation and a university degree in business, finance, or economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial management, budgeting, and analysis Familiarity with accepted accounting practices, principles, standards, and procedures, including reporting and costing Proficiency in developing financial models, scenarios, and driver-based financial analysis Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data to senior management and Board members Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must obtain and maintain the required Police Security Clearance as a condition of employment. This process is facilitated by our law enforcement partners. A minimum residency in Canada of 5 years is required for eligibility.

VACCINATION POLICY: E-Comm 9-1-1 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. Should it be reinstated, compliance will be required for all employees.
