Restaurant Operations Manager

SME PIZZA ONTARIO LTD. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Team Management: Hire food service staff, establish methods to meet work schedules, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
- Fast-paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and under pressure.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
