Program Supervisor

Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Live in Program. As a Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of staff members, ensuring that all accreditation standards are met, and providing support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of staff members up to 10 individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Consult with Children's Services to ensure that our program is meeting the needs of our clients.
- Ensure that all accreditation standards are met, including maintaining accurate records and completing necessary documentation.
- Oversee the completion of staff timesheets and time-off requests, ensuring that all staff are properly compensated.
- Participate in leadership meetings to discuss program operations and make decisions that impact the team.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss program goals, provide feedback, and address any concerns.
- Work with the Program Manager to review and adhere to the program budget, ensuring that all expenses are properly accounted for.
- Provide regular supervision and support to staff members, including providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
- Support clients as needed, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve their goals.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Oversee household health and safety standards, ensuring that the program is a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a Human Services related field.
- Experience and demonstrated skills in supervising staff, including providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Experience working with at-risk youth, including providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Experience working with Children's Services, including consulting with them to ensure that our program is meeting the needs of our clients.
- CPR and first aid certification.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license, with a clean driver's abstract containing not more than two minor offenses or one major offense.
- A Police Record Check with Vulnerable sector check, and a Child Intervention Check, both within six months.
