Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Hill Top Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Special Needs: Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Transportation: Own transportation is required.
  • Work Conditions: Attention to detail, client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, and reliability are essential skills for this role.
