Job Title: Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our food services team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and staff
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
  • Train and develop staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Conduct regular inventory and quality control checks

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality/food service industry
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Food Safe certification
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
