About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our food services team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and staff
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Train and develop staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Conduct regular inventory and quality control checks
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the hospitality/food service industry
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Food Safe certification
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
