Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Rocky's Donair Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Performance Management

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Cost Control

Monitor and control costs associated with food, labor, and other supplies to ensure profitability.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible prices.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in electronic cash registers, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and stand for extended periods.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
