About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Rocky's Donair Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Implementation

Determine the types of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.

Performance Management

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Cost Control

Monitor and control costs associated with food, labor, and other supplies to maintain profitability.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.

Health and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Marketing and Promotion

Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.

Employee Supervision

Supervise a team of 3-4 employees to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and providing excellent customer service.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficient in using electronic cash registers, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to manage restaurant operations efficiently.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication skills, accuracy, dependability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.

Experience and Education

1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a college diploma or equivalent in a related field.
