Position Overview

Title: Director of Marketing

Location: Kelowna, BC

Reporting Structure: Directly to the Managing Directors

Team Composition: Oversee a dedicated team of 4 professionals

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities

Franchise Development: Spearhead initiatives to enhance our franchise network through a well-structured campaign calendar aimed at attracting franchise leads.

Strategic Leadership: Guide a cross-functional team in crafting and implementing comprehensive omnichannel marketing strategies that enhance customer retention, boost brand visibility, and drive growth.

Campaign Management: Oversee the planning and execution of seasonal marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Performance Optimization: Assess and refine the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts, both in-house and through external partners.

Digital Strategy: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to formulate a robust strategy encompassing CRM, paid media, SEO/SEM, and website management.

Agency Coordination: Work in tandem with external agencies to implement marketing initiatives while managing associated budgets.

Research and Insights: Provide valuable strategic insights to the leadership team through thorough research and analysis.

Social Media Strategy: Direct the social media approach to enhance brand engagement and foster an online community, potentially utilizing external support.

Creative Direction: Occasionally oversee creative projects, such as photoshoots, to ensure brand consistency and generate necessary marketing materials.

Marketing Collateral: Collaborate with the design team to produce both print and digital marketing materials, including video content.

Product Launch Campaigns: Coordinate with the purchasing team to align marketing campaigns with product launch schedules.

New Location Openings: Partner with Development and Operations teams to strategize grand openings and related marketing efforts.

Budget Management: Oversee a substantial budget dedicated to brand marketing and digital initiatives, ensuring effective allocation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
