Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Pastry Culture INC.

Job Summary:

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading our pastry team in creating high-quality desserts and pastries for our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for pastry arts.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and cooks to ensure high-quality desserts and pastries are produced.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus to meet customer demands and preferences.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and promotions.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained.
  • Train and develop pastry chefs and cooks to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control food costs to meet budget targets.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in pastry arts, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bakery.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and high standards of quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, with experience in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
