Job Summary:

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading our pastry team in creating high-quality desserts and pastries for our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for baking and pastry arts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and bakers to ensure high-quality products and efficient production.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay ahead of the competition and meet customer demands.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and visually appealing desserts and pastries.
  • Ensure all products meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a pastry chef or in a related role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
