Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation
- Ensure all areas of the hospital/medical facility or clinic are clean and sanitized, including floors, furniture, and equipment.
- Restock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
- Empty trash containers and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Housekeeping Tasks
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Support Services
- Provide basic information on facilities and services to guests and visitors.
- Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure all areas of the facility are secure and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Report any security or safety concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Be able to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Personal Qualities
- Be dependable, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Have a high level of initiative and be able to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Will train on the job to ensure a high level of competence and confidence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
