We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Surya Hygiene Inc. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Ensure all areas of the hospital/medical facility or clinic are clean and sanitized, including floors, furniture, and equipment.
    • Restock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed.
    • Empty trash containers and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Housekeeping Tasks
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to prevent dust buildup.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
  • Support Services
    • Provide basic information on facilities and services to guests and visitors.
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure all areas of the facility are secure and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.
    • Report any security or safety concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
    • Be able to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be dependable, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Have a high level of initiative and be able to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
    • Will train on the job to ensure a high level of competence and confidence.
