Job Title: Cleaning Man/Woman

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Hy Country Kennels & Pet Resort as a Cleaning Man/Woman. This is a part-time opportunity that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Animal Care: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.

Requirements: Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset. Availability for shift or on-call work is required. Language of work: English. Hours of work: 10 hours per week.
