Operations Manager

We are a leading logistics and transportation company seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, from managing resources to implementing organizational policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and driving results.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, promoting the company's interests.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
- Operations management, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
- Willing to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally, to support business needs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a large workload, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A team player, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to support others.
