About the Role

The Branch Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial, sales, and business operations within a specific branch. This role requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive results-oriented teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan, including sales objectives, operating budgets, and retail audits.
  • Direct all aspects of branch operations, including maintenance and repair of facilities, to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage human resources, including hiring, promoting, performance management, coaching, and discharging, in accordance with company policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee record-keeping functions, including sales and monies received, inventory records, and supply requisitions.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, division management, and industry personnel to promote Nutrien Ag Solutions' products and services.
  • Execute our culture of care and comply with all Nutrien Ag Solutions' and industry regulatory and EH&S standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business experience, with a track record in sales, marketing, or branch management.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
  • Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education (combinations of education and experience may be considered).
  • Valid Canadian driver's license.
