Reporting to the Area Manager, the Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial sales and business operations within the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and implement the Branch business plan and operating budget, retail audits, sales objectives, and keep all invoicing and accounts receivable in accordance with company policy.
  • Direct all aspects and daily operations, including maintenance and repair of the facility to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Manage all aspects of human resource within the Branch, including hiring, promoting, performance management, coaching, and discharging within company policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee all record-keeping functions in recording sales and monies received, in maintaining inventory records, in requisitioning supplies in accordance with sales projections and movement of product within the market area.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, division management, and other appropriate industry personnel to promote Nutrien Ag Solutions' products and services.
  • Execute our culture of care and comply with all Nutrien Ag Solutions' and industry regulatory and EH&S standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business experience with a track record in sales, marketing, or branch management.
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience.
  • Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education (combinations of education and experience may be considered).
  • Valid Canadian driver's license.
