Position Overview

As a Montessori Teacher at Inspire Montessori School Corp, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of young children. Your expertise will help create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and creativity.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues in daily housekeeping and meal preparation tasks.
  • Evaluate the overall development of children and relay important information to parents.
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.
  • Help maintain accurate records as required by early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Encourage children to explore their creativity through various forms of art, music, and physical activities.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide written observations regarding children's progress to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers involved with children.
  • Plan and coordinate activities for school-age children in childcare programs outside of regular school hours.
  • Supervise and manage the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours per week of commitment. The primary language of work is English.
