Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the school age team to develop and implement program plans and activities.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents, community partners, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or approved equivalency.
- Recent Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Working knowledge of child care early years act (CCEYA) is an asset.
- At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
- Health assessment and record of immunization, as outlined by legislation.
- Up-to-date registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (if applicable).
- Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and standard first aid.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation, and with the use of pedagogical documentation.
- Proven ability to establish effective relationships with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365, Intranet, Dayforce, and Storypark.
