Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at The Village Children's Programs. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Planning: Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans that cater to their unique needs.
  • Child Care and Support: Provide basic care and support to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that foster the overall development of children.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and supervisors through regular reports and updates.
  • Environment and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) and Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
