Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Accoravillage. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our early childhood education program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the school age team to develop and implement program plans that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Accoravillage policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or approved equivalency from a recognized college or university.
  • Working knowledge of child care early years act (CCEYA) is an asset.
  • At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
  • Health assessment and record of immunization, as outlined by legislation.
  • Up-to-date registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (if applicable).
  • Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and standard first aid (training provided upon selection if required).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with inquiry/play based program design and implementation, and with the use of pedagogical documentation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and establish positive relationships with families, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365, Intranet, Dayforce, and Storypark.
