About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Kahlon Law Office. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and court sessions, ensuring timely and efficient communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to important documents and records.
  • Minute Taking and Record Keeping: Record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings, and conferences, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Office Procedures and Routines: Develop and implement efficient office procedures and routines to optimize productivity and workflow.
  • Correspondence and Document Preparation: Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures and grammatical standards.
  • Review and Proofreading: Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal and grammatical standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative or support role.
  • Work Setting: General law practice.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, and reliability.
