Content Marketing Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Specialist to join our team at 7shifts. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness and organic growth through the creation of high-quality content and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience
- Write and edit high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, templates, case studies, and SEO content
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone across all platforms
- Support copywriting across multiple channels, including email, website, performance ads, and social media
- Contribute to editorial calendar planning to maximize our content production and distribution
- Align content with business objectives and customer needs by collaborating closely with the Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Growth teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, content management, or editorial
- Exceptional writing skills with both short and long-form copy, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and asset types
- Passion for creating inspiring, helpful content for restaurant owners, operators, and employees
- Skilled in juggling multiple projects and consistently meeting deadlines
- Experienced in interviewing sources, conducting research, and synthesizing data into cohesive pieces
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration with experience working closely with customers, industry experts, and partners
- Experience in or exposure to the restaurant or hospitality industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Conversion copywriting skills with experience writing for websites and performance ads
- Experience in PR writing press releases
- Experience in the SaaS industry
