About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Content Marketing Specialist to drive brand awareness and organic growth by creating high-quality content and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms. As a key member of our Content Marketing team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align content with business goals, support copywriting across channels, and contribute to editorial planning to maximize content impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content strategy that drives awareness and organic demand for 7shifts
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone across all platforms by actively participating in peer and freelancer editing, sharing feedback, and collaborating on content refinement
- Support copywriting across multiple channels, including website, performance ads, and social media
- Contribute to editorial calendar planning to maximize 7shifts' content production and distribution
- Align content with business objectives and customer needs by collaborating closely with the Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Growth teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, content management, or editorial
- Exceptional writing skills with both short and long-form copy, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and asset types
- Passion for creating inspiring, helpful content for restaurant owners, operators, and employees
- Skilled in juggling multiple projects and consistently meeting deadlines
- Experienced in interviewing sources, conducting research, and synthesizing data into cohesive pieces
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration with experience working closely with customers, industry experts, and partners
- Experience in or exposure to the restaurant or hospitality industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Conversion copywriting skills with experience writing for websites and performance ads
- Experience in PR writing press releases
- Experience in the SaaS industry
