Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Temporary full-time Program Assistant - Brampton to join our dynamic Strat Facilities Mgt & Bus Integr team.
In this role, you will provide system administrative and customer service support to excel in one or more required specialized areas such as: technology system knowledge, maintaining access privileges and data entry, knowledge management, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide system and customer service support for the Strategic Facilities Management & Business Integration (SFM&BI) department and stakeholders.
- Participate in and provide project and program support, create reports, dashboards, presentations, meeting documentation, respond to inquiries and concerns in accordance with established scripts, procedures, and processes.
- Review documentation including but not limited to records, data, forms, policies, and departmental manuals.
- Maintain documents, records, and data in a controlled manner to ensure accessibility to information using established knowledge management principles.
- Completion of post-secondary administrative training from an accredited community college or academic institution.
- Minimum of three years related experience including knowledge of good record keeping practices.
- Previous experience/exposure working within a GMP environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a national virtual team environment and have the maturity to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers within a Windows operating system using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Experience with Teams, SharePoint, SAP, Documentum, Forms, and Power BI is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Payment in lieu of vacation and statutory holidays.
- Annual performance award up to 5%.

- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/days of the week.
- Shift/hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week/7.5 hours a day.
- Travel requirements - you may be required to travel to any of our sites, for team building meetings 1-2 times a year when required.
This position must meet the Trustworthiness and Reliability Verification requirements of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and is subject to criminal records and employment verification checks.
