Program Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Advisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a Program Advisor, you will play a critical role in fostering student success and ensuring timely program completion or continuing enrollment in university programs.
Key Responsibilities- Student Engagement and Support: Follow up with students at-risk of departure, confirm registration in the upcoming term, and call students who have withdrawn or are on a leave of absence to encourage re-entry.
- Program Development and Implementation: Oversee a calendar of activities that support program participation, including the planning and execution of graduation ceremonies.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Prepare at-risk and grade reporting from faculty, assist with student retention and persistence reporting, and provide data-driven insights to inform program development.
- Student Support Services: Assist students in accessing academic, financial, IT, tutoring, housing, and health and wellness services, and follow up to ensure the appropriate level of support was provided.
- Education and Experience: An undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience working in student services or customer service, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to student success.
- Consultative and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and faculty, and a deep appreciation for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn how to use our student information systems, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain meticulous records.
- Flexibility: Ability to work at our Brampton campus three days a week, either 9-5 or 10-6, including one Saturday a month, and open to working extended hours during peak periods for student registration and reporting.
