Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Ricki's is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Intercity Shopping Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional brand experience for our customers and driving business results through coaching and encouraging customer-focused sales associates and leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute store visual merchandising presentations to deliver brand fashion ability
  • Drive business results through coaching and encouraging customer-focused sales associates and leaders
  • Oversee store operations, including shift task organization and store opening and closing duties
  • Implement brand visual standards and seasonal merchandising plans to achieve consistency of visual display
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment for our teams and customers
  • Secure company assets with strong loss prevention skills and awareness
  • Provide leadership to the store team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to achieve great results
Requirements:
  • Experienced retail supervisor with strong visual merchandising skills and ability to drive business through fashion consciousness and commerciality
  • Excellent sales skills and commitment to ensuring amazing customer experiences
  • Able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store
  • Flexible availability, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
