Assistant Store Manager Job Description

At Ricki's, we're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain store operations, including achieving sales goals, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and overall team leadership.
  • Oversee business operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Deliver brand fashion ability through the creation and execution of store visual merchandise presentation.
  • Drive business results through coaching and encouraging customer-focused sales associates and leaders.
  • Promote the brand through knowledge and understanding of our product, business, and values.
  • Implement Brand(s) visual standards, and seasonal merchandising plans to achieve a consistency of visual display.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment for our teams and customers.
  • Secure company assets with strong loss prevention skills and awareness.
  • Provide leadership to the store team; providing guidance, coaching, and training to your team so they can achieve great results.
  • Creating a positive work environment that embodies our values.
Requirements:
  • Experienced retail supervisor who is able to motivate, train, and coach others to success.
  • Holds strong retail and business acumen.
  • Strong visual merchandising skills and the ability to drive business through fashion consciousness and commerciality will be an asset.
  • Has excellent sales skills and is committed to ensuring amazing customer experiences.
  • Committed to teamwork and can apply our philosophy that "none of us is as good as all of us".
  • Able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store.
  • Has flexible availability; Assistant Managers work a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
