Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining exceptional Guest Services, supporting the Store Manager in various tasks, and driving sales and profitability through staff development, expense control, and merchandising and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Guest Services and drive sales growth
  • Support the Store Manager in store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and visual merchandising
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement action plans to improve store performance
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to store staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Prior retail and management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
