Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer Lead to join our team in Calgary, Lethbridge, or Edmonton. As a key member of our Transportation group, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of a bridge group, supporting other MPE offices and disciplines, writing proposals, and managing projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare preliminary and detailed design calculations for bridge projects.
  • Develop structural details and construction plans for bridges and foundations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers, technologists, and technicians.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Civil or Structural Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.).
  • Over 10 years of experience in bridge design and engineering, with a strong background in the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
