Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer Lead to join our team in Calgary, Lethbridge, or Edmonton. As a key member of our Transportation group, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of a bridge group, supporting other MPE offices and disciplines, and contributing to proposal writing and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage bridge projects, including planning, assessment, reporting, design, and inspection.
  • Prepare technical reports, project specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Requirements
  • Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.).
  • Over 10 years of experience in bridge design and analysis, with a strong background in the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code.
  • Demonstrated experience in bridge engineering with a recognized consulting engineering firm.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
