Bridge Engineer Lead

At Englobe Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer Lead to join our team in Calgary, Lethbridge, or Edmonton. As a key member of our Transportation group, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of a bridge group, supporting other MPE offices and disciplines, writing proposals, and managing projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage bridge projects, including planning, assessment, reporting, design, and inspection.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed design calculations, technical reports, project specifications, and contract documents.
- Develop structural details and construction plans, and conduct design checks and quality audits.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, and provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers, technologists, and technicians.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.).
- Over 10 years of experience in bridge design, with a strong background in the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code.
- Demonstrated experience in bridge engineering, with a recognized consulting engineering firm.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, industry-standard bridge design and analysis software, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work independently and interact well with other staff, and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
