Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Advisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to managers and associates on employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide interpretation and explanation of company policies, procedures, and practices to managers and associates.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, including those related to working conditions, disciplinary actions, and discrimination allegations.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing disciplinary letters and terminations.
  • Work on special projects, such as drafting and updating policies and processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist/Advisor in a large company, preferably with exposure to unionized associates and collective agreements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Advanced computer skills, including ability to perform HRIS queries, generate reports, and create case management files.
  • Knowledge of employment labor law in multiple provinces is an asset.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
