We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance travel experiences for our customers.

The Director of Service Delivery will report directly to the General Manager or the General Manager Operations, taking charge of the Service Delivery department with comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Service Delivery department (Transport/Dispatch), emphasizing financial and operational efficiency.
  • Manage budgetary allocations and financial performance.
  • Oversee the Service Delivery team, including aspects of recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee retention.
  • Provide strategic direction to improve service quality, minimize operational costs, and achieve excellence in Transportation Operations.
  • Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services, prioritizing customer engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with other Unit Process Owners to address conflicts and streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain employee discipline.
  • Engage in the investigation of incidents/accidents, focusing on enhancing safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferred degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Certification of Professional Competence (CPC) / Logistics is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience managing large teams in transport logistics is advantageous (Union experience is a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years in management roles demonstrating leadership and senior management capabilities.

Travel %: unit-specific, occasional travel may be necessary.

Exemption Classification: Exempt/Non-Exempt

External Relationships: Customers

Work Environment: Administrative/Management role with exposure to ramp-side operations and varying temperatures.

Other Considerations: Role may involve physical activities and travel via commercial airlines.

Budget/Revenue Responsibility: Accountable for staffing, budget management, and revenue generation to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
