About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Sixth Street Grill. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
    • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, demonstrating attention to detail and culinary expertise.
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Leadership and Teamwork
    • Organize buffets and banquets, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
