About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Kelly O'Bryan's Neighbourhood Restaurant & Carlos O'Bryan's Pub. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
