Position Summary

The Senior Detailer plays a crucial role in creating architectural fixture drawings for client approval, as well as detailed fabrication drawings for internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural fixture drawings and specifications for client review, adhering to the established engineering and drawing standards.
  • Implement efficient design and production methods during the drawing process to enhance quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to review all drawings and specifications.
  • Engage in product development by sourcing and compiling information to facilitate efficient production and ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure a smooth design-to-production workflow.
  • Generate Bills of Materials for all manufactured wood and metal products.
  • Maintain familiarity with part numbers for accurate documentation.
  • Define and manage the production scope, including procurement of materials.
  • Keep all revisions to Bills of Materials up to date.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Driven by continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Expertise in utilizing fabrication details to optimize production flow, product quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Capacity to meet design criteria and corporate standards.
  • Accurate documentation skills for Bills of Materials.
