Position Summary

The Senior Detailer is responsible for creating architectural fixture drawings for client approval and detailed fabrication drawings for internal use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate architectural fixture drawings based on the specified design, adhering to corporate engineering standards.
  • Implement efficient design and production methodologies in the drawing process.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to review all drawings and specifications.
  • Engage in product development by sourcing and compiling information for efficient production, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth design and manufacturing workflows.
  • Prepare Bills of Materials for all manufactured wood and metal products.
  • Maintain familiarity with part numbers and manage timely production scopes, including outsourced items.
  • Update and maintain all revisions to Bills of Materials.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Driven by continuous improvement and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • Expertise in utilizing fabrication details to enhance production flow, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Capability to meet client design specifications and corporate standards.
  • Accurate documentation practices for Bills of Materials.
