Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care Unit
In this role, your primary objective is to deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care in a nurturing and culturally aware environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, emphasizing assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of patient health. Your ability to build strong relationships will be key as you connect with patients, families, physicians, and staff across the organization. Adaptability to technological advancements is essential. This position also supports the hospital's academic mission by enhancing care through education and research initiatives. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, fostering a safe environment for all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Critical Care Certificate is mandatory.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Critical Care/ICU is preferred.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
