Job Summary

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a skilled Nurse - RN/RPN Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-focused, safe, and holistic nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assess, anticipate, and respond to the changing needs of patients.
  • Travel within the region to provide care to patients in their homes.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, preferably in community nursing.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Ability to work independently in the community.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, required (additional languages an asset).
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience with infusion therapy and wound care.
  • Experience with palliative care and mental health considered an asset.
  • Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
