Humber River Health is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
- Monitor and manage patients requiring hemodynamic and ventilation support
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize computerized systems for accurate documentation and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience
- Critical Care Certificate required
- Experience in working on a Nurse Lead Rapid Response Team preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
