Position Overview

Humber River Health is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
  • Monitor and manage patients requiring hemodynamic and ventilation support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Utilize computerized systems for accurate documentation and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience
  • Critical Care Certificate required
  • Experience in working on a Nurse Lead Rapid Response Team preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
