Job Title: IT Manager, Security Operations

Job Summary:

The IT Manager, Security Operations will be responsible for leading the Security Operations practice and developing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect Purolator's infrastructure and data. This role will work closely with management and technical teams to ensure the implementation of security controls and measures that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Security Operations team in the execution of the company's cybersecurity strategy
  • Develop and implement strategic, technical, and operational security controls
  • Collaborate with management and technical teams to ensure the implementation of security measures
  • Monitor and manage security information and events
  • Develop and maintain processes to monitor and remediate threats and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement an incident response plan
  • Manage staff, including recruitment, supervision, career development, and performance evaluation
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years' experience in information security
  • 3-5 years' technical leadership and people management experience
  • Knowledge of information security and risk control frameworks
  • Experience with leading the response to incidents, crises, and investigations
