Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Non Stop Cargo Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Arrange training for staff and conduct performance reviews to ensure employees are meeting performance expectations.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse and distribution center.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and shipping/receiving.
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people and providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
