About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at AR Basement Developer. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Prepare and submit production reports, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Activity Coordination: Schedule and coordinate activities, including material requisitioning and equipment ordering.
  • Apprenticeship Training: Oversee the training and development of apprentices, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Staffing: Recruit, hire, and manage construction staff, including recommending personnel actions as needed.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Personnel Recommendations: Provide recommendations for personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in residential construction supervision.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
