Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at 100 Mile House Holdings Ltd. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning: Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menus for our restaurant, taking into account seasonal ingredients, dietary restrictions, and customer preferences.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, including food portioning, presentation, and plating.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff, to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
